I think it should be compulsory that at least one happy news story is covered in every news programme.

About a year or more ago [info]blue_donkey helped me choose a pair of shoes. I have to say he choose very well. However these shoes are extremly high and having worn them two days running my feet are really aching tonight.

The things we do to try to look good.

Why is it that when you have to get up early the next morning you can't sleep :-(

Politics. I know I should be interested in it and I do try but I find it boring. I do however vote as I feel it is my right to do so especially after the Suffragettes fought to allow women to vote.

Today whilst working at the County Show the Independent party came to talk to a colleague and myself. My colleague laughed so much after he had gone because I told him I found it quite irritating when parties come round at tea-time or when I have just got home from work.

Oh well another few days and it will be over until the next election :-)

[info]blue_donkey and I went to see the new film with friends and it was great. I will not write any spoiler here. If you want to know what it was like GO AND SEE IT!

The real Joe bunny died last week. I found him dead the morning after the second night of storms. He was five but I hoped he would live longer.

I still miss him as he was such a character.

Can you belive this?

I drove a Lotus yesterday. Yep [info]blue_donkey let me drive his treasured car:-) It was so cool. I only drove it in a deserted car park but it was still so good. I am the only person he has let drive it.

I have never loved a car like I love Rudolph.
We had a lovely weekend in Wales (where the Welsh people live) and I don't think they have Lotus's there as they were all staring enviously at it.

Last night [info]blue_donkey took me to see Katie Perry in Camden - she was really great but her support act were appalling. They were called 303 and seemed to like holding their men's parts and asking people to do things to them - I am not a prude but found this revolting and out of order expecially when most the crowd were aged between 14 - early 20's.

I must be getting old!

I finally did it.......................

I am off for a few days so I used my 5 day free pass to the local LA Fitness. It was ok and I enjoyed it. I also had a little swim and then read the newspaper and had a coffee before going to the hairdresses to have my hair done. I am now laid on my bed and I am starting to ache.

no wonder I have a headache

I had to try to resolve two disputes between work colleagues today and my head was spinning so much that [info]goddessmaat and I went over to Morrisons for lunch with two other colleagues.

I joined a 6 week fitness class last week. Tonight was my second class and god our instructor wore me out. I had a bath this evening and slipped as I tried to get out, possibly due to being totally done in from the hour's intense exercise. Now I have bruises on my body and ache even more.

Will I last the remaining 4 weeks

Work on Monday - yuk :-(

I have had such a lovely Christmas I am really not looking forward to returning to work after 10 great days off (14 including the weekends). Even housework seems more fun - help that is scary perhaps I had better get back to work quickly.

Hope you all had a great New Year's Eve. I have now recovered after [info]blue_donkey's party

Merry Christmas and stuff

what my boss thinks of me!

On Friday night at an award ceremony my boss told me that sometimes he hates my f***ing guts - as you can imagine I was very upset by this remark. He then went on to say that sometimes he admires me and loves my passion for the work I do but he still hates me at times. How do I handle that? He was drunk but still! My Manager is not at all impressed by our boss's behaviour.

So today I am sitting at my desk wondering if I should consider a career move. Any advice would be very helpful.

Oh and I failed to mention he had me nominated for Employee of the year - is he playing mind games with me?

I was just on my friend's website and spotted this pic of my cute little Guinea Pig Furby on her website. The day this was taken he won first prize in a pet show. Can you believe that [info]blue_donkey teases him about wanting to eat him?
